The Zen Center on Main Street is a community of practitioners dedicated to whole-hearted practice of the Way in the midst of our everyday lives.  We engage in traditional Soto Zen practice forms and  modern methods of healing and awakening our bodies, hearts and minds.  Our sacred space is located in the vital town center of Northampton, Massachusetts, overlooking Main Street.  This location is a reminder that spiritual practice and realization are not outside of our everyday lives. 

Our intimate center is supported by a dedicated Sangha and led by Anraku Sensei, a fully authorized Zen Teacher in the White Plum Lineage of Maezumi Roshi. 

Our schedule includes weekly meditations, monthly all day retreats, a Beginner’s Mind Week, Face to Face Interview (Daisan), workshops, study groups and various Sangha events.   Zen on Main is Open and Affirming, welcoming all people.  Meditation Instruction is offered in English, Spanish, German, French.
